At Reels Up, our mission is to provide an extraordinary experience for beginner and seasoned anglers alike. Aboard the Dream Catcher, you will be equipped with everything you need from tackle, and bait, to packaging materials to bring your filets home!
0ur standard charters are for up to 3 people. During blackfish season, which runs from October 10th to November 28th, we can take up to 5, depending on weather conditions. A $150 deposit is due when you book. Final payment can be cash at the dock or arranged earlier. Gratuities are appreciated if you had a great time! The price covers all essentials: tackle, bait, gear, and fish packaging! that way you can keep your main focus on the fishing.

THE FISHFINDER
The Fish finder is ideal for a half day or an afterwork getaway. In this 5 hour trip, we'll customize the experience. Whether you're in the mood to hunt trophy stripers or just want a relaxing evening filling the cooler with fresh catch. Its the perfect flexible trip to fit your schedule and fishing goals.

THE GRAND SLAM
The Grand Slam is built for anglers looking to target quality fish and chase true trophies. This trip is focused on putting time and effort into the species you want most, with a game plan tailored to conditions and opportunity. Whether the goal is landing a trophy striped bass or focusing on the best bite of the day, this trip is about patience, strategy, and giving yourself the best shot at a standout fish.

THE BLOCK ISLAND
The Block Island excursion is a destination trip centered around one of the most well known fisheries in the region. Block Island has earned its reputation for producing quality fish year after year. Trip planning is guided by conditions and seasonal patterns, with emphasis on fishing the right areas at the right time. This trip is ideal for anglers looking for a serious fishing experience in a legendary location.

THE BIG TUNA
The Big Tuna is a serious offshore trip for up to 2 anglers who know what they are signing up for.
This is a long day built around preparation, patience, and grinding until the opportunity shows itself. We fish based on seasonal tuna movement and real time conditions, staying mobile ands adjusting constantly to stay in the game. These trips demand focus and effort, but the payoff can be the experience of a lifetime. This excursion is best suited for anglers ready for a demanding offshore day.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before your scheduled excursion will result in forfeiture of the $150 deposit paid at booking.
WEATHER CANCELLATIONS
Weather conditions can change quickly, and all weather related decisions are made with safety as the top priority. Weather cancellations are determined at the captain's discretion and may be made up to one hour before the scheduled departure time. If a trip is cancelled by the captain due to weather and cannot be rescheduled, your deposit or full payment will be refunded.
Cancellations made at the clients discretion are subject to a 50 percent charge of the trip rate.
WHAT TO BRING

Sneakers or soft soles boots (no black-soled shoes) to prevent marking the boat.

We want you to have a good time! Dress according to the season and pending weather conditions so you only have to worry about what to serve with your fish for dinner.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
For everyone’s safety, trips are scheduled around the best tides and conditions to provide safe and productive fishing. Light alcohol consumption is permitted; however, intoxicated passengers will not be allowed on board. There is a zero tolerance drug policy.
Fishing licenses are not required when fishing aboard a Connecticut charter vessel. If you are an experienced angler and would like to bring your own rod and reel, please let the captain know when booking your trip.
Reels Up Guide Service LLC is not responsible for lost or damaged personal equipment. Any damage to the vessel or onboard equipment caused by intoxication, negligence, or misuse will be the responsibility of the client and subject to repair or replacement at the client’s expense.
All trips are operated in compliance with United States Coast Guard safety requirements.
